Physical Education
Curriculum Intent
At Chyngton, we teach PE in order for children to develop fundamental movement skills, linking and using them in different ways. We aim to build children’s enjoyment of physical activity by communicating, collaborating and competing with each other.
This involves:
- developing competence in fundamental movement skills, such as running, jumping, throwing and catching
- being physically active in a range of different physical activities and sports
- engage in competitive sports and activities
- be encouraged to lead healthy, active lives, understanding the importance of this.
